Welcome!

Welcome to Mrs. Crim's Class

Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to The 2016-2017 school year! Our them for this year is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." The hungry caterpillar east his way through a varied and very large quantity of food until, full at last, he forms a cocoon around himself, goes to sleep and wakes into a beautiful butterfly. Just like the caterpillar, we are hungry for learning, full of knowledge and will blossom into beautiful learners.

My name is Mallory E. Crim. This is my eight year as a Special Education teacher here at Jonesboro Elementary School. I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Collaborative/Special Education  K-6 from Alabama A&M Univerisity in 2008. I also received a Master's Degree in Collaborative/Special Education K-6 from the University of West Alabama in 2012. I am currently pursuing an Education Specialist Degree from the University of West Alabama.

I am so elated to have the opportunity to educate your child. Providing an education for your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. I will go above and beyond to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience. I am challenging you as the parent to encourage your child by reading to them, ensuring that they have completed their homework assignments as well as have their weekly behavior tracker. I will keep you informed of all assignments covered in class. There will also be interactive learning activities available for students to increase their learning. We will be using lots of technology in many exciting ways and I'm sure your child will love telling you about it!

Please send your child a change of clothes in case of accidents and a snack each day. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have via email mabner2bessk12.org or telephone 432-3457.

I know with your help we are going to have an outstanding year!
