Mrs. Dearman began teaching at Jonesboro Elementary School in 2000.  She has taught fifth grade and third grade students. She was selected as the Teacher of the Year in 2014. Mrs. Dearman is currently the Technology Lab Teacher for kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Mrs. Dearman's mission is to motivate, encourage, inspire, and challenge students to embrace education. She strives to help every student be successful.

Mrs. Dearman lives in Bibb County with her husband.  She has two awesome daughters, two hard-working sons-in-law, and four energetic grandchildren. Her favorite hobby is spending time with her family.  

Mrs. Dearman loves to read, spending time outside, and learning new things. She bakes three-dimensional cakes for family birthday parties and creates many different types of arts and crafts.
