My teaching journey at Jonesboro Elementary started in August  of 2006. I taught fifth grade for six years and sixth grade for one year. In 2013, I became a fourth grade teacher!!

I am a product of the Bessemer City School System. I am a graduate of Jonesboro Elementary, Davis Middle School, and Jess Lanier High School. I have a beautiful daughter and I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. I am extremely fond of teaching, shopping, dancing, and playing softball. As an educator, it is vital to foster critical thinking skills and help students develop problem-solving strategies. My primary goal each year is to help my students become self-motivated learners for today and tomorrow.
